Activities performed:  Set up a national system for measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) of the GHG emission reductions achieved from energy conservations and energy efficiency. Study included: 

  • Overview of Greenhouse gas inventory
  • Methodology for determining the amount of GHG emissions from the energy sector
  • GHG emissions from the energy sector in Mongolia
  • Energy consumption-based GHG emissions
  • Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) of GHG mitigation in the Energy sector
