Activities performed: The Consultants prepared the feasibility study of a thermal plant extension project for Khuvsgul city, Mongolia. The scope of the feasibility study includes the following tasks:
- The current situation of the thermal power plant equipment
- Coal survey for the thermal power plant
- Choose the boiler type
- Coal handling system
- DCS control system of boiler section
- Impacts of the power plant to the environment, and to define the environment protection measures to mitigate the impact;
- Project investment cost, the financial and economic analysis of the power plant.
